Are you a chef or a keen cook, passionate about food? Would you like to join our team? We are a busy Cafe/Restaurant open from 10am to 4pm in the centre of Bungay. This is a daytime role, 4 days per week, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays starting at approx. 8.45am; 7 - 9 hours per day in both our busy kitchen and bakery. Extra hours to cover holiday and our special evening events (1-2 per month) are also available.
We are looking for someone who enjoys baking, preparing & cooking varied dishes and has a good knowledge of food. You’ll be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a small team under the guidance of the head chef. The baking includes making batches of cakes and scones; the kitchen includes preparing good quality, locally sourced food and cooking dishes to order.
